It all started with a gift and a Christmas ornament. Back in 2003, I found myself in a position to which many young mothers can relate. The holidays were just around the corner. It was time to buy the gifts. Teachers, babysitters, Bible study leaders, the Bunko group. The never-ending list. I wanted to do something different, but what? Baking - for me that was out of the question. Now what? Then one Sunday afternoon it hit me - SOAP! I started giving soap to family and friends...and they actually wanted more of it!Creativity, experimentation, and inspiration took over. Somewhere along the way, I began making soaps with scriptures in them. It took a good family friend to reveal the importance of this to me. My "light bulb moment" came when he said "Tara, you have found your ministry!" I have a ministry? Wow! How can I NOT make soap? The rest, as they say, is history.
Just in case you were wondering about the name, my husband and I have three little angels of our own - Baylor, Annie and Mary Ellis.
